The securities settlement system
The National Bank administers a settlement system for securities (formerly called Clearing), which ensures the secure handling of transactions in, predominantly, dematerialised securities (securities that only exist in the form of an entry on an account).

Central processing of commercial bills
In 1997 the banking sector introduced the system for the central processing of commercial bills with the aim of obviating the need for the material transfer of commercial bills between credit institutions.

TARGET
TARGET is the European cross border payment system linking the national so called gross settlement systems of the 15 EU countries with the payment system of the European Central Bank.
